The Cape Neddick Light is a lighthouse in Cape Neddick, York, Maine. In 1874 Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station at the "Nubble" and in 1879 construction began. Cape Neddick Light Station was dedicated by the U.S. Lighthouse Service and put into use in 1879. It is still in use today. Wikipedia

I met James Chase today. I asked him what he was painting he said "geometric shapes". He is a visual artist. He told me he is an art teacher at the Art Institute here in downtown Manchester New Hampshire.

He and another artist are painting the large concrete roadblocks that are surrounding our downtown main street outdoor dining areas. Certainly making it look very pretty too! He told me he has already painted 40 of them in Nashua New Hampshire.

I do plan to go back very soon and do a photoshoot exclusively of the downtown roadblock art. It was just way too dangerous with all of the traffic going by when I was there this morning. The artwork is done on the inside and the outside of each roadblock. I checked it all out and know where I want to shoot. I am excited to return soon. Downtown Manchester New Hampshire 4/24/21

Handed down to me from my Mom. Beautiful stones all semi precious as far as I know. It is old. She got it from her Dad. It was made in Brazil.

Amethyst is a stone of peace, some believe amethyst's calming presence produces soothing dreams by bringing the dreamer more in tune with the Divine.
